Toer de Geuze 2011

History

The Toer de Geuze was organised for the first time in 1997. Boon, De Cam, De Troch, 3 Fonteinen, Lindemans and Timmermans opened their doors for the public. Since then the open brewery day of the Payottenland and the Valley of the Senne has become a biannual event.

The previous edition of the Toer de Geuze took place on 19th October 1997, 3rd October 1999, 22nd April 2001, 27th April 2003, 3rd April 2005, 22nd April 2007 and 26th April 2009.

This year, HORAL will present a Megablend again. This old gueuze was especially made at the occasion of the Toer de Geuze 2011 and can be tasted

  • at the breweries and blenderies which contributes to the creation of the Mega Blend 2011 (Boon, De Oude Cam, De Troch, 3 Fonteinen, Hanssens, Lindemans, Oud Beersel, Timmermans)
  • in restaurant 'De Heeren van Liedekercke' (Denderleeuw)
  • and in the lambic beer pub 'In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst' (Eizeringen).

If you also want some Mega Blend Oude Geuze 2011, you can order a box of 12 bottles via megablend [at] horal [dot] be. You can collect the box on May 1st, 2011. Delivery at home is also possible via The House of Gueuze.
